Does your child enjoy exploration and archeology? Come join us at Faith Baptist Church Summer Camp for a summer full of exploration as we hear from God’s Word, experience fun activities and visit many of God’s wonderful creations. Camp activities are filled with Bible lessons, games, crafts, swimming, field trips and fun with friends from school. Summer camp is for children 5-12 years old for the summer of 2009.
Dates: June 8th – August 21st
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Before and aftercare hours available
7:00-8:00 and 5:00-6:00
($3.50 per hour per child)
Prices:
Registration Fee: $45.00
First child: $150.00 a week (with reservation)
$160.00 a week (NO reservation, space available only)
$40.00 a day for drop off (space available only)
Second child: $120.00 a week
You will need to reserve a spot for the weeks that you want your children to attend our day camp. Payment for the weeks reserved is due on Monday of that week. Parents must cancel a reservation for a child one week in advance to avoid being charged for the reserved week’s full amount.
Dress code:
Girls: Pants, skirts (to the knee) and long shorts (to the top of the knee or longer). Please choose shirts to cover the shoulders (no tanks or sleeveless shirts) and belly when arms are raised, and clothing that is free of pictures and logos. Socks must be worn at all times.
Boys: Pants and long shorts. Please choose shirts that have sleeves and are free of pictures or logos. Socks must be worn at all times.
The daycamp director may require a child to change clothing that is deemed inappropriate.
Swimming
The pool will have a lifeguard. A swimming test will be conducted by the lifeguard to determine if your child is allowed to swim in the deep end. Flip flops or sandals must be worn for the pool.
Girls: Please choose swim suits that are one piece and not high cut on the legs. Towels, spray-on, no-rub sunscreen and a modest pool coverall are required to be able to go to the pool
Boys: Please choose swim trunks that are long and loose and a separate shirt that can be worn to swim times. Towels and spray-on, no-rub sunscreen are required to be able to go to the pool.
We will also have several fun (and safe) field trips throughout the summer to many beautiful, exciting Virginia attractions. (tentative trips, times and dates)
Lunches and snacks
Your child will need to pack a lunch every day unless otherwise notified of a special event (pizza day, field trip, etc.) Please do not send anything that needs to be heated. A morning snack will provided each day as part of the camp fees. Additional snacks for late afternoon may be purchased at the vending machines or sent from home.

free meal. If your child prefers not to be a cow, money or a packed lunch will be needed. We will be eating at the Chic Fil A on Rt. 17. Partial cow attire receives a free sandwich.
